FRANKFORT, Kentucky, Feb. 6 -- The Kentucky Public Service Commission (PSC) has granted motions filed by Sierra Club and Nucor Steel Gallatin (Nucor) allowing their counsel to appear remotely at the informal conference (IC) scheduled for January 29, 2025.

The IC concerns East Kentucky Power Cooperative's application for a certificate of public convenience and necessity to construct a new generation resource, a site compatibility certificate, and other general relief.
