ALBANY, New York, Feb. 1 -- The New York Public Service Commission (PSC) has fined J & A Concrete Corp. $2,500 for damaging a gas service line on Staten Island. The incident occurred on August 9, 2024, at 19 Shelley Avenue, when the company damaged a 1/2-inch high-pressure plastic gas service while installing curbs and sidewalks.
