ALBANY, New York, Feb. 1 -- The New York Public Service Commission (PSC) has fined TM Desmond, LLC $2,500 for damaging a gas distribution main during excavation work in Jamestown. The incident occurred on January 16, 2024, at 270 Cole Avenue, when the company, while performing sewer line repairs, damaged a 4-inch high-pressure plastic gas main.
The PSC's investigation found that TM Desmond, LLC failed to verify the location of the underground gas line by means of hand-dug test . . .
