N.Y. PSC: Peconic Bay Materials Fined $2,500 for Gas Line Damage

ALBANY, New York, Feb. 1 -- The New York Public Service Commission (PSC) has fined Terra Tech Site Development Inc, doing business as Peconic Bay Materials, $2,500 for damaging a gas line during excavation. The incident occurred on September 11, 2024, at 260 Cox-Neck Road, Mattituck, New York, when the company damaged a 11/4-inch high-pressure plastic gas service while removing a tree.
