N.Y. PSC: Queens Co-op Complex Gets Approval for Electricity Submetering

ALBANY, New York, Jan. 30 -- The New York Public Service Commission (PSC) has authorized Queensview, Inc. to submeter electricity at its 14-building, 726-unit cooperative complex at 21-66 33rd Road in Queens. The order, issued January 29, 2025, allows the co-op to bill shareholders directly for their individual electricity usage.

The existing cooperative complex, master-metered by Con Edison, will be outfitted with Commission-approved Intech21 PM-2104 submeters. The complex does not . . .
