WASHINGTON, Jan. 29 (TNSFRinfo) -- The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement is seeking public comment on a proposed information collection renewal. This information collection is required by the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977.

The information collected will be used to establish procedures and requirements for terminating jurisdiction of surface coal mining and reclamation operations, petitions for rulemaking, and citizen suits.
