ALBANY, New York, Jan. 29 -- The New York Public Service Commission (PSC) has approved a settlement agreement with Atlantic Energy, LLC, requiring the energy company to pay a $100,000 penalty and issue refunds to customers. The agreement resolves allegations that Atlantic Energy violated the Commission's Uniform Business Practices, including enrolling customers on non-compliant products with inappropriate inducements and transferring customers to new plans without their consent.
