ALBANY, New York, Jan. 25 -- The New York State Public Service Commission (NYPSC) has approved tariff amendments filed by National Grid to clarify the definition of "peak hour" used in its electric service rates.
The amendments introduce the term "ICAP Market Peak Hour" and define it as the non-holiday weekday hour in July or August with the highest electricity demand in the New York Control Area, as determined by the New York Independent System Operator (NYISO). . . .
