N.Y. PSC: Con Edison Delays Tariff Change Regarding Transformer Installation

ALBANY, New York, Jan. 24 -- Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. (Con Edison) has agreed to further postpone the effective date of a proposed tariff change regarding transformer installation.

The original filing, which aimed to shift the responsibility of installing transformers from Con Edison to its customers, was scheduled to take effect on November 1, 2024, but has now been delayed until April 1, 2025.
