COLUMBIA, South Carolina, Jan. 24 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of South Carolina issued the following news release:

Tyrell Rakeem Sanders, 29, of Newberry, was sentenced to 12 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and marijuana.
