ATLANTA, Georgia, Jan. 22 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia issued the following news release:

First Assistant U.S. Attorney Richard S. Moultrie, Jr. has succeeded U.S. Attorney Ryan K. Buchanan as the Acting U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, effective January 20, 2024, at 12:00 a.m., pursuant to the Federal Vacancies Reform Act, 5 U.S.C Sec. 3345.
