Temple University Announces Repatriation Process for Native American Remains From Mohr Site

WASHINGTON, Jan. 18 (TNSFR) -- Temple University has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The remains, representing at least 94 individuals, were excavated from the Mohr Site in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, between 1963 and 1965 by Dr. Jacob Gruber.

A collection of 156 funerary objects was also recovered, including beads, ceramic vessels, and burial stones, . . .
