Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests to Return Human Remains and Artifacts to Tribes

WASHINGTON, Jan. 18 (TNSFR) -- The Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), has announced plans to repatriate human remains and associated funerary objects to the Hopi Tribe of Arizona, the Pueblo of Acoma, New Mexico, and the Zuni Tribe of the Zuni Reservation, New Mexico.
