DENVER, Colorado, Jan. 17 -- The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment issued the following news release on Jan. 16, 2025:

The Colorado Air Quality Control Commission has approved two key updates to the state's vehicle emissions testing program. The commission introduced self-service kiosks for testing gasoline-powered and hybrid vehicles. The kiosks will be open 24 hours every day of the week.
