LAREDO, Texas, Jan. 14 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Texas issued the following news release:
A 49-year-old woman has been sentenced for her role in conspiring to import nearly six kilograms of cocaine from Mexico, announced U.S. Attorney Alamdar S. Hamdani.
Carmen Julia Carreon Segovia pleaded guilty June 12, 2024.
U.S. District Judge Lee H. Rosenthal has now ordered Carreon Segovia to serve 120 months in federal prison. N . . .
