WASHINGTON, Jan. 11 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement issued the following news release on Jan. 10, 2025:
The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSMRE) today released the Spring Creek Mine Federal Mining Plan Modification Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). Spring Creek Mine is in Big Horn County, Montana, about 32 miles north of Sheridan, Wyoming.
