WASHINGTON, Jan. 11 (TNSFR) -- The Department of Justice (DOJ) has filed a proposed Consent Decree with the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana to resolve Meyer Distributing, Inc.'s alleged violations of the Clean Air Act.
Meyer, accused of selling over 600 types of devices that bypass or defeat emission controls on motor vehicles between January 1, 2018, and September 16, 2020, has agreed to pay a $7.4 million civil penalty as part of the settlem . . .
