WASHINGTON, Jan. 9 -- Rep. Morgan Griffith, R-Virginia, issued the following news release:
The Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) has awarded EO Companies, based in Abingdon, Virginia, a $100,841 grant. EO Companies is a separate entity that works in partnership with the United Way of Southwest Virginia. The funding will support a disaster recovery coordinator role and facilitate United Way efforts in providing Hurricane Helene relief resources to localities in Southwest Virginia . . .
