WASHINGTON, Jan. 8 -- Sen. Ted Budd, R-North Carolina, issued the following news release:
Senator Ted Budd (R-NC) celebrated the signing into law of the Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) Reauthorization Act. The bill ensures that children receive appropriate care during a medical emergency.
The EMSC program was established in 1984 and is the only federal program focused on enhancing emergency care for children and adolescents.
