ALBANY, New York, Jan. 8 -- National Grid, formerly known as Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation, is seeking public input on its plan to rebuild an existing 18.3-mile power transmission line in St. Lawrence County.
The project would rebuild the 115-kilovolt line from the Colton Substation in the Town of Pierrepont to the Nicholville Substation in the Town of Lawrence. The utility company says the rebuild is necessary to ensure continued reliable electric service in the area.
