LANSING, Michigan, Dec. 20 -- Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, D-Michigan, issued the following news release on Dec. 18, 2024:
Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced three revitalization projects have received $700,000 in support from the Build MI Community Grant initiative, which will activate vacant spaces and create housing and storefronts in Detroit, Escanaba, and Ypsilanti.
"These projects in Detroit, Escanaba, and Ypsilanti will turn vacant, abandoned property into afford . . .
