BROWNSVILLE, Texas, Dec. 19 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Texas issued the following news release:
A 42-year-old resident of San Benito has been sentenced for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute over five kilograms of cocaine, announced U.S. Attorney Alamdar S. Hamdani.
Salvador Cortez-Nava aka Chava pleaded guilty Aug. 24, 2023.
U.S. District Judge Rolando Olvera has now ordered Cortez-Nava to serve 120 months . . .
