WASHINGTON, Dec. 10 -- The Environmental Protection Agency issued the following news release:

SAN FRANCISCO - Today, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced a settlement with Central Valley Meat Company Inc. for claims of violations of the Clean Air Act and the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act.
