WASHINGTON, Dec. 9 -- The Environmental Protection Agency issued the following news release:

SEATTLE (December 9, 2024) -- Today the U.S. EPA announced three Alaska Native organizations will receive more than $3.8 million in grant funding to assess and clean up legacy contamination on lands conveyed through the 1971 Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act. These grants are part of more than $47 million in funding that EPA received in the past two years to assess and clean up contaminate . . .
