LAWRENCE, Kansas, Dec. 13 (TNSres) -- The University of Kansas issued the following news:
Construction will begin next month on a 5,500-square-foot addition to the Kansas Geological Survey Drill Core Library in the West District of the University of Kansas Lawrence campus. The new building will almost triple the amount of storage space for the extensive collection of core -- rock samples collected when drilling a well -- maintained by KGS, and it will more than double the laboratory . . .
