WASHINGTON, Dec. 12 -- Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, issued the following news release:

Representative Chip Roy (TX-21) issued the following statement on the FY 2025 National Defense Authorization Act (H.R. 5009):

"I voted NO on the FY 2025 National Defense Authorization Act (H.R. 5009).

I was very happy to see that the NDAA adhered to spending caps in law and made some strides to restore mission focus at the Pentagon, primarily through language banning Crit . . .
