WASHINGTON, Dec. 12 -- Rep. Jodey Arrington, R-Texas, chairman of the House Budget Committee, issued the following news release on Dec. 11, 2024:

Today, the House of Representatives favorably advanced House Budget Committee legislation, H.R. 9716, the Increasing Baseline Updates Act, sponsored by Rep. Blake Moore (R-UT) to the Senate by a recorded vote of 407-0.

H.R. 9716 passed the House Budget Committee unanimously by a bipartisan vote of 32-0 on September 25, 2024.
