CHARLESTON, West Virginia, Dec. 12 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia issued the following news release on Dec. 11, 2024:
A federal grand jury returned an 18-count indictment yesterday charging Michael David Barker, 47, of Foster, with mail fraud, conspiracy to commit mail fraud, theft concerning programs receiving federal funds, and money laundering. The indictment was unsealed today following Barker's arrest by law enforcement officers.
