Food & Water Watch: Amid Strong Public Pressure, CPUC to Delay Aliso Canyon Proceedings to March

WASHINGTON, Dec. 11 -- The Food and Water Watch issued the following news release on Dec. 10, 2024:

Today, the California Public Utilities Commission announced it will vote to extend the deadline of the Aliso Canyon proceedings to March 31, 2025. The Aliso Canyon gas storage facility was the site of the largest methane blowout in U.S history nearly a decade ago.
