WASHINGTON, Dec. 9 -- Sen. John Kennedy, R-Louisiana, issued the following news release:
Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.), a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced $5,494,688 in Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) grants for Louisiana disaster aid.
"Hurricane damage and saltwater intrusion pose major threats to Louisianians' safety and property. This $5.5 million will help Lake Charles and other parts of our state recover from Hurricanes Lau . . .
