WASHINGTON, Dec. 9 -- Rep. Morgan Griffith, R-Virginia, issued the following news release:
In response to a New York court decision finding Daniel Penny not guilty of negligent homicide in the death of Jordan Neely, U.S. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:
"Daniel Penny is an American who served his country admirably in the United States Marine Corps. In the military, he received several ribbons and awards common in peacetime activity . . .
