RALEIGH, North Carolina, Dec. 4 -- The North Carolina Republican Party issued the following news release:

Jefferson Griffin, Republican candidate for North Carolina Supreme Court, filed a motion on December 2nd to expedite the adjudication of properly filed election protests with the N.C. State Board of Elections.
