RALEIGH, North Carolina, Dec. 3 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of North Carolina issued the following news release:
Harold Vernard Greene, Jr., age 45, was sentenced to 24 years in prison for drug trafficking with three children in a vehicle. This conviction marks Greene's third federal conviction in the Eastern District of North Carolina.
