WASHINGTON, Dec. 4 -- The U.S. Department of Justice issued the following news release on Dec. 2, 2024:
A civil forfeiture complaint was filed today for $3.4 million in proceeds from the sale of a music studio in Burbank, California. The complaint alleges that the proceeds, which are beneficially owned by Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska, are the proceeds of sanctions violations.
