ST. PAUL, Minnesota, Dec. 3 -- Gov. Tim Walz, D-Minnesota, issued the following proclamation on Dec. 1, 2024:

WHEREAS: Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a virus that attacks cells that help the body fight infection. In Minnesota, there are nearly 10,000 people living with diagnosed HIV and an estimated 1,100 additional people living with HIV who are unaware of their condition; and
WHEREAS: If left untreated, HIV can badly damage the body's immune . . .
