WASHINGTON, Nov. 28 -- Rep. Jimmy Gomez, D-California, issued the following news release on Nov. 26, 2024:
Yesterday, Congressman Jimmy Gomez's (CA-34) legislation to redesignate a local post office in his district after famed Korean independence activist Dosan Ahn Chang Ho was signed into law by President Joseph R. Biden.
The bill, H.R. 599, passed the House of Representatives unanimously in January of this year and unanimously passed the Senate last week.
