RALEIGH, North Carolina, Nov. 26 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of North Carolina issued the following news release:
Raleigh businessman Wilson Alfredo Olivera Borda pled guilty to nine counts of defrauding the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) for over $1 million. At sentencing, Olivera faces a statutory maximum of 30 years imprisonment and a fine of up to $1,000,000.
