AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 22 -- Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, issued the following news release on Nov. 20, 2024:
Governor Greg Abbott today issued an executive order to protect Texas' critical infrastructure from threats posed by the People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The Governor directed the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) and Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUC) to prepare for potential threats against Texas' critical infrastructure . . .
