WASHINGTON, Nov. 21 -- Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyoming, issued the following news release on Nov. 20, 2024:
U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) introduced the Safer Parks Act today to update 911 emergency call centers inside the National Park System (NPS). The bill would direct the U.S. Department of the Interior to develop a plan to upgrade NPS 911 call centers with Next Generation 911 (NG911) technology.
