WASHINGTON, Nov. 20 -- Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, issued the following news on Nov. 19, 2024:
U.S. Senators John Cornyn (R-TX) and Alex Padilla (D-CA) today introduced legislation to shield U.S. research from malign foreign influence by updating language in the CHIPS and Science Act:
"In a world where competition turns into hostility all too often, we must do everything in our power to safeguard American ingenuity against bad actor nations," said Sen. Cornyn. . . .
