Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III announced today that the president has made the following nominations:

Marine Corps Col. Timothy S. Brady Jr. for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Brady is currently serving as assistant chief of staff, G-3, Marine Forces Pacific, Camp H. M. Smith, Hawaii.
