WASHINGTON, Nov. 18 -- The U.S. Department of Defense's Defense Logistics Agency issued the following news:

A newly awarded competitive contract for an additively manufactured part that prevents structural damage to F-15 aircraft reinforces the Defense Logistics Agency's commitment to collaborating with the military services on 3D printing procurement strategies.
