MADISON, Wisconsin, Nov. 15 -- The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources issued the following news release on Nov. 14, 2024:

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced the village of Mukwonago has applied for a 50% matching grant as part of the Urban Green Space subprogram of the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program. The grant will assist with purchasing 2.2 acres of land in the village of Mukwonago in Waukesha County.
