WASHINGTON, Nov. 13 -- Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia, issued the following news release:
Today, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (I-WV), member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, announced $4,352,389 from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development program for 23 projects across West Virginia. The funding will support the purchase and installation of solar arrays, as well as the development of renewable energy systems for communities throughout the state.
