BATON ROUGE, Louisiana, Nov. 2 -- Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill issued the following news on Nov. 1, 2024:

Agents with Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill's Office arrested the former Director of the Winn Parish Council on Aging on October 30.

Jennifer Higgs (DOB: 11/6/1982), of Larry Bruce Road in Winnfield, is accused of mishandling agency funds for personal use.
