SCRANTON, Pennsylvania, Nov. 2 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Pennsylvania issued the following news release on Nov. 1, 2024:

United States Attorney Gerard M. Karam announced today that the Justice Department will monitor compliance with federal voting rights laws in Luzerne County for the November 5 general election.
