ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico, Nov. 1 -- Bernalillo County issued the following news release on Oct. 31, 2024:
Assessor Damian Lara updated the Bernalillo County Board of County Commissioners at its regularly scheduled meeting on Oct. 22 to explain Constitutional Amendments 1 and 2 that are on the Nov. 5 ballot. Those amendments would increase the exemptions afforded veterans.
Amendment 1 would allow veterans a property tax exemption directly proportional to their service-re . . .
