WASHINGTON, Oct. 29 -- Rep. Aaron Bean, R-Florida, issued the following news release on Oct. 28, 2024:
Today, U.S. Congressman Aaron Bean (FL-04) and U.S. Congressman Andy Ogles (TN-05) introduced the "Americans First Disaster Relief Act." This legislation would provide an additional $10 billion to FEMA for disaster relief. The bill would move $10 billion set aside to hire thousands of additional IRS agents and instead use the money to provide critical disaster assistance. . . .
