WASHINGTON, Oct. 28 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
Today, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced a new investment to improve rail crossing safety in Akron. The Department of Transportation (DOT) has awarded $840,480 to the City of Akron to improve safety at railroad crossings. The investment will support the installation of additional gates and other safety-related improvements.
