WASHINGTON, Oct. 24 -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Inspector General's Office of Investigations issued the following investigation report:

On October 1, 2024, in the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah, Alexsander Vasiliyevich Barsukov pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and was sentenced to 3 years of probation, including 6 months of home detention, $1,378,702 in restitution, $6,754,845 in forfeiture, and a $100 special assessment . . .
